HOW TO LAND YOUR DREAM JOB IN 90 DAYS OR LESS
Eburuche, O. C. Banito

In a previous newsletter, I shared seven simple steps to growing your value and becoming irresistible.  In case you have not come across it, kindly read it here (Read Now).
In this newsletter, I will be sharing on how to land your dream job using the VIP technique. VIP Technique? Yes.

Before I proceed, it will be worth to remind you that the issue of unemployment is a global concern; affecting the under-developed, developing and developed nations of the word. Every country is experiencing increasing rate of  unemployment, reduced staff benefits/remuneration, company staff downsizing and close-up, reduced organizational productivity, less motivated workforce and strong competition in the labour market among others.  These experiences notwithstanding, do not stop people from aspiring and desiring for better things. We still set goals and pursue after them with the expectation that they would be delivered.

One of such goals we set irrespective of the irregularities in the economy is to have our dream jobs. It could be in oil and gas, with high-paying NGOs, engineering firms, medical firms, telecommunications, government agencies, banks and multinational corporations among others.  Whichever job that is your dream job, this technique is sure for everyone.

VIP Technique
Yes, you need to be a Very Important Personality to land your dream job. If companies do not see you as a very important person, they may never hire you.

So let us talk about it.

V: VALUE-ADDING PERSONALITY.
Be a value-adding personality.
Just the way we all are interested in value before we invest or spend any dime, every organization is also looking for value before they recruit. No man or woman want to marry a liability, in the same vein, no organization want to recruit a liability. The law of value states that the higher the value of a product, the less relevant price becomes. That is to say; if the value is worth it, then the price is not a problem. Just the way a man will spend all he has to marry the (perceived) Miss Right (and vice versa), organizations are also ready to spend a great deal on recruiting and managing value-adding people.
So if you want to land your dream job, all you need to do is to prove that you are a value-adding person to your prospective employer.

I: INNOVATIVE PERSONALITY.
Organizations love intelligent, smart and creative people because they contribute maximally to the achievement of corporate goals through their innovative ideas.  To be able to attain high level of innovative power, one needs to empower his mind through acquiring practical and relevant knowledge.  Show that you are innovative and creative, then you will land your dream job.

P: (HIGH) PERFORMANCE PERSONALITY
Yes, it is great to be a value-adding and innovative person but ultimately, you must be a (very) high performing personality to land your dream job. High performing people have great impact on the organization’s bottomline. In most cases, high-performing people are always experiencing increase in remuneration and fast-paced promotions. The reason is to keep them happy and satisfied so that they can keep working with the organizations. Do you want to land your dream job, then prove that you are a high-performing person.
