Eligibility Requirement for Membership Induction and Licensing
1.
Student Member
Must have successful completed his/her O’ level certificate (Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE,), National Examination Council (NECO) or General Certificate Examination (GCE)) examination or its equivalence in the international community and must be an undergraduate student of a recognized institute.
Must have completed the course “Fundamentals of General Management” with the institute.
2.
Graduate Member
Must have a Degree or HND with recognized institutions.
Must have successfully completed “Fundamentals of General Management” and any of the professional management courses in the institute.
3.
Associate Member
Must have postgraduate certificates as Postgraduate Diploma, Advanced Diploma or their equivalence.
Must have successfully completed one or more professional management courses with the institute with at least 2years of practice.
4.
Honorary Member
Must have satisfactorily completed his/her degree (or its equivalence) in management related discipline.
Must have at least five (5) years of experience in public professional management. He must have contributed in cash and in kind to the pursuit of the organization’s vision and purpose.
5.
Member
Must have satisfactorily completed his degree programs with postgraduate certifications as PG. D, Adv. D or their equivalence.
Must have successfully completed at least two professional management programs with the institute. Must have at least three years of experience in his chosen area(s) of interests. Must have been consistent towards his contribution to the pursuit of the organization’s vision and purpose.
6.
Fellow
Must have satisfactorily completed his degree programs with postgraduate certifications as PG. D, Adv. D and Masters (MA, MBA M.SC) or their equivalence.
Must have successfully completed at least two professional management programs with the institute. Must have at least five years of post-training experience in his/her chosen area(s) of interests. Must have been consistent towards his contribution to the pursuit of the organization’s vision and purpose.
7.
Corporate Member
Must be a functional firm whose interest is to invest into her human capital as a means for creating both competitive and sustainable advantages.
Must have at least three of her staff being trained and certified by the institute. Or have staff with equivalent certifications as with the institute with at least one of the staff being trained by the institute.

    1.      To apply for upgrade, you must have gotten the required number of years of practice at the lower level.
    2.      Must have accumulated at least 15ACU from the institute’s events, one of which must be Mandatory Continuing Professional Education and Development (MCPED).
